(Yes, it's the same person) Facebook I had to look three or four times to believe it! It's her! Inspiring, Brian

Veterans Day 2009
I just placed a few more finishing touches on Uptown Country's page. Wow, Delma Stamm has so much going on in her Downtown Washington shop, it's hard to imagine keeping track of all of it, plus designing it. This is a true, true gift from Above.
Uptown Country's page is here
For information on the nephew of the builder of the Stamm's building see www.haroldlloyd.com

Today I posted American Flags on the homepage in honor of Veterans Day tomorrow. I do appreciate those who have served and are still serving.
I remember a bumper sticker a few years ago during the Irag War (it went something like this) "My Kid is in Iraq so your kid can party" . . . sobering thought, pun intended. We have so many freedoms here in the U.S.A we take them for granted . Let's be ever more thankful this week for what we have and are going to have in the future because of the sacrifices of those who served. Thank you Veterans and Service People. You have helped make a very country that many don't like but secretly desire to live in.

There are many things that I love about rural Washington County Kansas. Let me "show and tell" one of them.
I suppose in the "old days", one could stand or sit on the sidewalk and talk politics with the local elected State Representative. This is still true here today.
I could not refuse when State of Kansas Representative Sharon Schwartz asked if she and her daughter could sit next to me on the sidewalk bench and drink their locally brewed specialty cup of coffee. I learned her daughter (dang it, can't remember her name) lives in my old area of Oregon, specifcally, Oregon City, Oregon. Also pictured below is Beth Knedlik.
I shared with Sharon one particular issue regarding Kansas Transient Lodging Taxes. She appeared to agree.
By the way, The Horn, Washington, has "All You Can Eat Pork BBQ" on Saturday Nov. 7 beginning at 6PM.

New, New, New. Lot's of new this Fall. Much of it good! The rest we will some how turn into good.
In addition to finalizing Itty Bitty Deli's Web page, All Wood Techniques of Clifton Kansas is now up.
First, Itty Bitty. A web page can be a very powerful tool for communicating your message to your market -- no matter how close or how far they are away on this globe.
All Wood Techniques of Clifton KS: Don't REPLACE . . . REFACE your cabinets and save about 50%! The average kitchen can be done in about a week!
If you've been thinking about a custom TV / Stereo cabinet, take a look at their work. It's definetly impressive!
I'm still looking for the exterior shot of AWT's building. It's somewhere amongst the 1000's of photo's on my hard drive.
